FIRE INSURANCE

In Belgium, the tenant is liable for damages caused by fire or explosion to the leased property. Therefore, he is obliged to effect what is known as a “tenant liability” insurance, covered by our policy : Comprehensive fire insurance.

It covers the apartment or the house, and/or its contents, against fire, lightning, all kind of explosions, theft, water damages, glassbreakage, temporary change of residence, etc. The proprietor anxious to protect his property, can also insure his building by the same kind of Comprehensive insurance, which covers also his liability as the owner of the construction.
